So after careful review of our "situations" my sister and I have decided to embark on a new adventure. We want to create a fun and easy website for planning children's birthday parties. We have a combined 15 years experience in the recreation field and both have degrees in sports and recreation management. Which basically means we plan fun events and recreational opportunities for others. We both love our jobs but both have recently had baby boys and just love them to infinity and beyond.
Our mission is to provide as much insight and give as many ideas (and printables) to everyone who is planning a birthday party for their little nugget. Games, invitations, decoration and general party information is what we would like to include on our site. We may branch off in the "baby shower" and "holiday party" areas but our main focus to start would be children's parties.
Some ideas that we have brainstormed are:

All types of animals
Book Worm
Movie Theme
Red Carpet Extravaganza
Sports
Messy Crafts
Arts and Crafts
Music
The activities that we would post would all be tailored to a specific theme and/or be general and be able to be altered to whatever party you have planned. We are planning to launch our website in January but we would like to know what you, the mothers, fathers and caregivers would like to see in a website of this nature. Does anyone have any other ideas for themes or items that they would like to see addressed on a website for fun kid's parties?
